Today I am posting a few of the "classic" recipes I have in my recipe box. This dip is tried and true and always present at our neighborhood cookouts thanks to Missy Moody. It will be especially delicious in the Fall on gameday!
Ingredients:
1 pkg. chopped spinach, drained
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 small can of green chiles
2 cups Monterey jack cheese and cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup of half and half (or milk)
1/2 small onion, diced (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients until well combined. Press into a baking dish (either 9x9 or 13x9). Bake for 25 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or pieces of toasted bread.
