Yes. There have been a lot of cookie recipes. But that was my plan. I'm still hoping to add an awesome sugar cookie recipe to the mix. Now these cookies are very similar to my last cookie, Oreo Fudge Decadence Cookies. Except they are a little more G-rated. Less rich, but still delicious and fun with the Oreo cookie crumbles in them. This recipe is also from The Picky Palate (she knows how to make a mean cookie). I made mine without chocolate chips, really just because I wasn't feeling a chocolate overload today. Add them if you're the kind of person who believes there is never too much chocolate. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
16 Oreo cookies, crumbled
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter. Add sugars and mix until combined. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture. Stir in Oreos and chocolate chips. Scoop spoonfuls on to a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes.
I just pulled these babies out of the oven and they are so flippin awesome. Yummmmmmm.
