So I was an Aldi skeptic, and the first time I went inside, I hated it. But since then, I have realized some of the awesome parts of Aldi and how to manage the more difficult ones. First of all, Aldi is owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe's. They keep their prices down by having a smaller selection of products. They also keep costs down by not offering free bags for groceries (bring your own or purchase for a small price). Their check out line is super fast, so that's kinda stressful. You also, like for every other grocery store, have to be careful what produce you buy. Some can be over/under ripe. Buuuuuutt now for the awesomeness! They have great deals on produce, meat, dairy, etc. Here were some of my savings this week:
Cantaloupe: $0.99
Pineapple: $1.69
All block cheeses: $1.79
Milk: $2.99
Limes: 6 for $0.99
Dried cranberries: $1.19
Cherry tomatoes: $0.99
I LOVE ALDI!
