Ingredients:
1 pkg. brownie mix (13x9 in pan size) plus the ingredients needed to make the brownies4 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Heat oven to 325 F. Prepare brownie batter as directed on package; pour into greased 13x9 pan. Bake 25 minutes or until top is shiny and center is not quite set (You have to be careful with this step because if you overcook the brownies you end up with super overcooked brownie base when the cheesecake part is cooked). While the brownie is baking beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each until just blended. Gently pour over brownie layer in pan. Filling with come almost to top of pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen sides; cool. Refrigerate 4 hours.
