Ingredients:
2 cans of crescent rolls (Some grocery stores carry the crescent rolls sheets. These would work best.)
1 lb sausage (Either regular or hot)
*Optional: 8 slices of precooked bacon sliced into 1/2 inch chunks
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
8 eggs
2 cups of cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lay one can of the crescent rolls in a greased 13X9 inch pan pressing the edges together to make 1 flat sheet. Bake for about 8 minutes. While those are cooking, brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat. When cooked, drain on paper towels. Combine sausage with softened cream cheese and bacon. Spread over partially cooked crescent rolls in bottom of pan. In a small bowl, beat eggs until scrambled. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper into the eggs. Add 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese. Pour over sausage mixture. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the eggs. Cover with the remaining can of crescent rolls. Bake for 25 minutes or until crescent rolls are cooked and eggs look done. Slice and enjoy!
