Cream Cheese Pound Cake


This cake is fantastic. Moist (could be all the butter and cream cheese) and delicious. Definitely one of the best pound cakes I've ever eaten. It is best served warm.


Ingredients: 
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 package cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 Tbs vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating well in between. Add eggs one at a time. In a separate bowl soft together flour and salt. Add to butter mixture, beating until just blended. Stir in extracts. Pour into a greased Bundt or tube pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and remove from pan.
